Pal is a series of compilations by Pear showcasing all the various iterations of that sound they know and love. For the first volume, they have cast their net far and wide & think you should find something to enjoy amidst it all.

Side A commences with the euphoric Daylight Blur from local boy Sage; big room tackle at its most genuine. Next, Plush Throw (the duo consisting of D. Tiffany and regularfantasy) do warm acid-tunnelling house with plushwhosback while Chmmr delivers an effective redux of piano house in the Nordic Disko tradition in User (CLI Mix).

Things switch up on the flip where Belfast native Brién concocts the broken-beat’n’soul house of Convertible Woman. Back down south, Laughing Man edits Noah Skelton’s Looped Reflections through to dreamier minimal house styles. Vancouver’s Candles concludes the first episode with the intimate bedroom pop-isms of delish89 (I'm right).
